Gabriele Frantzen and Coco Pleger have known each other for a long time!
In her manufactory, COCO LOVES CLAY, the ceramic artist designs vases, bowls & design objects made of clay and porcelain, each piece built by hand. Modern and individual.

Already at the first meeting, Gabriele was fascinated by the elegance of Coco´s work and the idea was born to capture "her" scarab in porcelain.

In Egyptian mythology, the scarab stands for "resurrection and life" just as the sprouting vegetation does every Spring.
The Blossoms in conjunction with the lucky beetle are an energetic symbol of strength and new beginnings.

Each object is handmade and unique. No two plates or bowls are the same - each piece is personally unique."
